Massive First-Time Matches Confirmed For September 11th!

SHP7 Day 1 222 of 473

On Sunday 11th September, ICW returns to The Asylum near Glasgow City Centre to tape episodes of our hit WWE Network TV show ‘Fight Club’. The card is already shaping up to be something special, with first time bouts and potential match of the year contenders already confirmed.

After an incredible return to action in the main event of our last show, Craig Anthony will be taking on another man who is on a run of form with massive fan support behind him in ‘The Outlaw’ Stevie James.  Who will be victorious when these two talented, fan favourite wrestlers collide?

Lou King Sharp & Krieger finally climbed back to the top of the mountain in Cardiff, when they defeated the Kings Of The North for the ICW Tag Team Championships. The newly named Glasgow Grindhouse are looking to be fighting champions, and will put their titles on the line on September 11th against a team they know very well; Ian Skinner & Charles Vyce. Having recently announced their resignation from Thatcher’s Cabinet after the disappointing results of Shug’s Hoose Party, can Skinner & Vyce get themselves n a new path by capturing the Tag Titles?

In another first-time contest, we have student taking on teacher as B.T Gunn goes one-on-one with Levi.  Levi may have lost his last match against Aaron Echo, but he certainly gained the respect of the fans with his never-say-die attitude. Can he get things back on track when he faces off against one of his coaches at the Glasgow Pro Wrestling Asylum training school, who is also a Triple Crown winner and ICW Legend?

MMA fighter turned pro wrestler Chris Bungard will compete at The Asylum for the first time when he takes on Theo Doros. Chris now has several matches under his belt on premier ICW events such as Fear & Loathing, Barred and Shugs Hoose Party but he is yet to compete in The Asylum. His opponent is the undeniably talented but disliked Theo Doros, current number one contender to the Zero-G Championship, who will get his shot at Fear & Loathing. Can the self-proclaimed Greek wrestling God topple the man who is just off the back of a massive victory at Cage Warriors last MMA event, or will ‘The Bad Guy’ be getting his hand raised?

Moxie Malone is on a recent run of good form with victories over Ellie Armstrong, Harley Hudson and Angel Hayze, albeit with the latter being under dubious circumstances at our last taping. However, her talent and aggression in the ring cannot be denied. On September 11th she faces off with rookie and Fife Pro Wrestling Asylum standout Daisy Jenkins, who has trained under the tutelage of Andy Wild and has been making considerable noise around the east coast wrestling scene in Scotland. With Moxie challenging Molly Spartan for the ICW Women’s World Championship in Cardiff on September 2nd, will she be returning to Glasgow with the title?

Speaking of Andy Wild, the stovie-fueled powerhouse has recently had to come to terms with a heart-breaking double cross from his former best friend Jason Reed and his manager Coach Trip at our last TV taping. This has led to Wild asking for and being granted and one-on-one match with Coach Trip!

Jason Reed will have a match of his own on September 11th, when he takes on the returning Vaughn Vertigo. Will Jason’s new attitude and commitment to Coach Trip help him score a big win over Vaughn, or will The V Guy use his past experience in ICW to gain his first victory?

Lana Austin collides with Angel Hayze on September 11th, in a rematch of a contest that took place a few months ago. With Lana securing a number of wins in ICW, and Angel looking to get her momentum going again, this should be a extremely hard-hitting contest between two of the best in ICW’s Women’s Division.

That’s not all though, as we also have Daz Black defending the ICW Zero-G Championship against Sheikh El Sham. Daz regained the Zero-G Championship at Shug’s Hoose Party, and most recently defended the title against Luke Kyro in Cardiff. Now, he faces a huge challenge in Sheikh El Sham. The Prince of Panashe has scored huge wins over Martin Kirby & Theo Doros in recent months, all while appearing to turn over a new leaf amd gain the respect of the fans.
