As ICW kicks off the ‘Aff The Telly’ Tour this weekend, the first stop is the 02 Academy Liverpool on Friday, February 26th, and in a rematch from last year’s 4th Annual Square Go, Chris Renfrew will put the ICW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Drew Galloway!
At last year’s Square Go event, these two men went to hell and back in a brutal contest, with the ICW World Heavyweight Champion then around the waist of Galloway. The gold may now be in the hands of Chris Renfrew, but this role-reversal does not mean a change in the feelings these two have toward one and other. Fighting on opposite sides of the ICW Originals/Black Label war, Chris and Drew are once against at odds with one and other, and this Friday in Liverpool, two of ICW’s very best go at it one more time, for the richest prize in British Wrestling.
Determined to prove himself as a fighting champion, Chris Renfrew has welcomed all challengers to his title since winning the ICW World Heavyweight Championship at the Fifth Annual Square Go, fighting off everyone who has looked to dethrone him so far. As he steps into the ring with one of his greatest opponents to date on Friday, February 26th, Renfrew will surely be thinking back to their previous encounter, remembering every trick that the former champion has up his sleeve. Willing to go to any lengths to keep his beloved title however, Renfrew will no doubt have a few tricks of his own to use against Galloway, but with The Black Label constantly waiting in the wings, and the recent betrayal of Wolfgang and Stevie Boy still playing on his mind, will Renfrew have what it takes to defeat Drew?
Since losing the ICW World Heavyweight Championship at Fear & Loathing VIII, Drew Galloway has become a very different animal. More vicious and ruthless than ever before, Drew is a man on a mission, determined to reclaim the title that he believes he never should have lost. Now, with an opportunity at the gold presenting itself at the 02 Academy Liverpool, Drew will be looking to make it count, and walk out with the title once again in his possession. The question is, is this a challenge that Drew will take on alone, or will he utilise the help of The Black Label and The 55 to ensure his victory. No matter what it takes, Drew Galloway desires only one thing; the ICW World Heavyweight Championship, and he doesn’t care how he gets it. Could we see Drew become the first ever 3-time ICW World Heavyweight Champion on Friday in Liverpool?
Don’t miss this huge match between two of ICW’s top stars, with the richest prize in British Wresting on the line! Tickets for this show on Friday, February 26th at the 02 Academy Liverpool are available at www.ticketmaster.co.uk!
