It was the moment that no-one thought would ever happen. A moment that fans up and down the country had dreamed of, but never truly believed would come to fruition, but at Shugs Hoose Party III, that moment became a reality, as Polo Promotions returned to ICW, to make a statement to the brand new ICW Tag Team Champions, The Local Fire.

At Barramania II, in March 2016, Polo Promotions were successful in recapturing the ICW Tag Team Championships, a title they had previously held longer than any other team in history. While they were victorious that evening, Mark Coffey & Jackie Polo made an even bigger statement when they announced that they would be leaving ICW, due to issues with current management. Leaving the Barrowlands ballroom that night with the titles still in their possession, Polo Promotions broke off all contact with Insane Championship Wrestling, leading fans and management alike to the assumption that Mark & Jackie would not be returning.

With no ICW Tag Team Champions in place, Red Lightning announced an 8 team tournament to crown new champions, with the winner being decided at Shug's Hoose Party III. When all was said and done, it was Joe Hendry & Davey Boy who would come out on top, and be rewarded with the brand new ICW Tag Team Championships. However, their moment of glory would be cut short, when Polo Promotions would make their unexpected return, coming face-to-face with The Local Fire.

With two teams now laying claim to being ICW Tag Team Champions, fans are left wondering what the future of the titles will be. As yet, Polo Promotions have made no further contact with ICW management, and are not scheduled to be in attendance on August 28th at The Garage in Glasgow. Always a team who like to make an impression though, are Mark Coffey & Jackie Polo intent on making their presence felt once again, at the next ICW Fight Club television tapings? We can only wait and see!
