One of the the 'Big Four' on ICW's event's calendar, Barramania is a night where the biggest stars in Insane Championship Wrestling make their way to the Barrowlands in Glasgow to steal the show on one of the most legendary stages possible. At least years event, Lewis Girvan made a huge impression by defeating Mikey Whiplash, and this year, on Sunday April 3rd 2016 at Barramania 2, another young star will have the opportunity to take on one of British Wrestling's most respected veteran figures, as Massimo is set to go one-on-one with Doug Williams!
Bursting into ICW in the summer of 2015, Massimo has quickly made a name for himself as one-to-watch in Insane Championship Wrestling. A huge, imposing figure who throws opponents around the ring with ease, the Italian star is an extremely impressive heavyweight, but he has yet to be truly tested in the ICW ring. Having already defeated a handful of younger talent, and receiving a deafening reception upon entering the Fifth Annual Square Go match, Massimo's star is certainly on the rise in ICW, and he is ready for bigger and better competition. On April 3rd, he faces off against one of the finest British Professional Wrestlers of the modern era, but with his frightening strength, and his natural talent between the ropes, could Massimo pick up the biggest victory of his career to date?
Since joining the ICW roster in late 2015, Doug Williams has been a man on a mission. Quickly aligning himself with James R. Kennedy and The 55, Williams has sworn to return British Wrestling to what he believes it should be, and will do so by making an example of anyone on the ICW roster who crosses him. A 20 plus-year veteran of Professional Wrestling, Williams has competed across the globe, winning titles in the UK, America, and Japan to name but a few, and as a result, has garnered a reputation as being one of the most skilled and feared grapplers in the UK. On April 3rd, he faces off against Massimo, but what he lacks in size, Doug Williams more than makes up for in experience and skill. With over two decades worth of knowledge at his disposal, Doug knows almost every trick in the book. Will he use that know-how to make an example of his Italian opponent in the hallowed halls of the Barrowlands on April 3rd?
Barramania 2 takes place at the Barrowlands in Glasgow, on Sunday April 3rd. Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.triplegmusic.com and www.tickets-scotland.co.uk!
