This Sunday, January 31st, at The Garage in Glasgow, ICW's 100th show will feature a highly anticipated tag team match. that so many fans have been waiting to see. For the first time ever, 'The Buckfast Barbarian' Davey Boy will join forces with 'The Local Hero' Joe Hendry to create Davey's dream team, The Local Fire, as they square off against Lionheart and Liam Thomson!
While ICW Zero-G Champion Davey Boy and Joe Hendry may seem like the most unlikely of allies, a unique and often hilarious friendship has been formed between the two competitors in recent months, leading to the formation of this brand new tandem. During the filming of ICW On Demand's 'Total Davey', Joe Hendry was brought on board by Mark Dallas as Davey Boy's life-coach, helping The Buckfast Barbarian grow as a man, while also helping him prepare for his encounter with Stevie Boy at Fear & Loathing VIII. Out of this friendship came Davey Boy's idea for the two men to team together as The Local Fire, and on January 31st, Davey's dream becomes a reality. Two of the most unique personalities in ICW finally stand side-by-side in an ICW ring, but will they be as effective together as they are on their own?
Their opponents that evening, however, will do everything in their power to ruin the party for The Local Fire. 'The Bad Motherfucker' Lionheart and 'Bad Boy' Liam Thomson have recently been drafted as two of Red Lightning's most trusted employees, often carrying out the dirty work of the ICW Majority Owner. With The Local Fire firmly alligned with Mark Dallas, Red Lightning will be looking to make an example of them on Janury 31st, resulting in him sending Lionheart and Liam to get the job done. Two of ICW's longest serving roster members, Liam and Lionheart are ruthless, and extremely dangerous competitors who will do anything in their power to pick up the win, and keep the boss happy. Also coming together as a team for the first time on January 31st, can Liam Thomson and Lionheart extinguish The Local Fire before it even starts?
Don't miss this first-time-ever tag team match, this Sunday, January 31st, at the Garage in Glasgow! Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.co.uk and www.triplegmusic.com!
