With Fear & Loathing IX, on November 20th at the SSE Hydro, creeping ever closer, everyone is out to gain as much momentum as possible going into this historic event, and none more so than 'The Iron Man' Joe Coffey. Returning to ICW at the last Fight Club taping, for the first time since Shug's Hoose Party III, Joe stated that he is only interested in 'money fights', as he heads towards his showdown with The Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, and October 9th, he will get exactly what he asked for, when he takes one of the most exciting competitors in professional wrestling today, Matt Cross!
A highly sought afer star all over the world, Matt Cross has been making a lot of noise over the past year, dazzling fans with an impressive arsenal of high-flying attacks and strikes. Late last year, Matt made his way to Insane Championship Wrestling for the first time to take on 'The Beast of Belfast' Big Damo, and was embraced by the fans for his standout performance on that night. Vowing to return to ICW in the future, Matt has kept his word, and will make his way back to Glasgow on Sunday October 9th to take on 'The Iron Man'. Now no longer a stranger to the intense atmosphere of ICW, will Matt be able to pick up a huge victory, by defeating one of the very best that the country has to offer?
After losing the ICW World Heavyweight Championship to Wolfgang under controversial circumstances at Shug's Hoose Party III, Joe Coffey has returned to ICW a much more focused and intense competitor. During his return match against Timothy Thatcher, Joe showed a fire that we have never seen from him before, pummeling his opponent, and sending a message to the entire wrestling world that, while he may have be down, he was by no means out, and is getting primed and ready for the biggest challenge of his career on November 20th. On October 9th, Joe faces yet another test in the form of Matt Cross, but will that fire still burn in The Iron Man, or could his focus on Fear & Loathing IX cause him to overlook his opponent?
Don't miss this contest between two of the best in the world today, as 'The Iron Man' Joe Coffey faces the one and only Matt Cross!
