This Sunday, January 3rd, at the Garage in Glasgow, two of ICW’s most dangerous grapplers go head-to-head, as Mikey Whiplash takes on one half of the new ICW Tag Team Champions, Kid Fite.

Two of the toughest competitors that have ever made their way to ICW, Mikey Whiplash and Kid Fite both ended 2015 on a high, but who will start off 2016 with momentum on their side?

Having recently stated his intentions to be part of the main event of Fear & Loathing IX at the Hydro on November 15th, Mikey Whiplash is on a mission to prove he deserves that spot by taking on any and all challengers that ICW can throw his way. A world-class technician, who also possesses a horrifically violent streak, Mikey is one of the most sought-after talents in the country, and for good reason. Having defeated Jack Jester on the last show of 2015, with some help from Mark Dallas, Whiplash has earned the disdain of Red Lightning, who has sent one of his best to take out Whiplash on January 3rd. Can Mikey keep his momentum going, and come one step closer to the main event of Fear & Loathing IX?

Another man who ended 2015 at the top of his game is Whiplash’s opponent, Kid Fite. After months of pursuing the titles, Fite and his partner, Sha Samuels, finally captured the ICW Tag Team Championships, with some help from James R. Kennedy and ‘The Consequence’ Timm Wylie, cementing themselves as the top tag team in Insane Championship Wrestling. With The 55 remaining loyal to Red Lightning and The Black Label, the majority owner of ICW has given the ever-violent Kid Fite the chance to take out Mikey Whiplash on January 3rd, continue his dominant run over the past few months. With The 55 by his side, can Kid Fite do what so many have tried before, and finally take out Legion’s painted warrior?

As these two extremely skilled and dangerous competitors square off, will it be Mikey Whiplash or Kid Fite who picks up the win, and continues their reign of dominance, heading into the Fifth Annual Square Go?
