“This is not goodbye. This is just see ya’ later!”
Those were the immortal words spoken by Finn Balor, the former ‘Prince’ Fergal Devitt, as he said farewell to Insane Championship Wrestling a few years ago, before heading overseas to compete in WWE. Despite only being part of ICW for a relatively short time, Balor managed to attain the ICW Zero-G Championship for a reign, and leave fans with some unforgettable matches against the likes of Jack Jester & Wolfgang, all the while cementing himself as a beloved Insane Championship Wrestling star.
When he eventually moved on from ICW, uttering the aforementioned words as he left, almost everyone thought that this would be the last time we would see Balor in an Insane Championship Wrestling ring. How wrong we were!
Due to other commitments, it was recently announced that Commissioner Mick Foley would be unable to attend Fear & Loathing IX, on Sunday November 20th at The SSE Hydro, and would therefore be sending a Special Guest Enforcer to make sure that his plans for the evening were carried out to the letter. However, Foley did not mention to Mark Dallas who that Special Guest Enforcer would be. With The Hardcore Legend out of the picture, Dallas was visibly terrified at the prospect of The Black Label running roughshod over Fear & Loathing IX, and bending the rules to win 100% control of ICW unfairly from him.
However, only a few minutes after announcing to fans that Mick Foley would not be there in person, Dallas’ fear turned to overwhelming joy, when it was revealed that none other than Finn Balor would be making his triumphant return to Insane Championship Wrestling on November 20th, as the Commissioners hand-picked Special Guest Enforcer!
A die-hard support of Insane Championship Wrestling, Balor will return at Fear Fear & Loathing IX to make sure that the Commissioners orders are carried out, but what kind of impact will his presence have on the biggest night in European Wrestling history?
Do not miss this monumental night, as the former ICW Zero-G Champion Finn Balor returns to ICW for one night only, at Fear & Loathing IX, on Sunday November 20th at The SSE Hydro!
