Fear & Loathing IX, taking place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, on Sunday November 20th 2016, is set to be the biggest night in European wrestling history, with the very best that Insane Championship Wrestling has to offer competing in one of the most popular venues in the world today. On the biggest night in the history of the company, ICW is pulling out all the stops to make the event as memorable as possible, and in one of the first major announcements regarding the show, Commissioner Mick Foley has signed one of the all-time greats to compete.
As was recently announced by 'The General Bollocks' Kenny Williams, Fear & Loathing IX will feature the ICW debut of the only Olympic Gold Medallist in the history of Professional Wrestling, Kurt Angle!
A man who has seen and done it all, Angle has competed on almost all of Professional Wrestling's grandest stages, racking up gold wherever he goes. With 2 NCAA Division I Championships under his belt, as well as mutiple reigns as WWE, WCW, TNA and IWGP Champion, Angle is widely regarded by many as one of the greatest in-ring performers that Professional Wrestling has ever seen. With such a legacy already existing, there are few things left for Kurt Angle to acheive in his career, but on November 20th 2016, he will be walking into a rare unknown environment, as he steps foot in an ICW ring for the first time.
Kurt's opponent has yet to be determined, with the winner of the Shug's Hoose Party III main event going on to battle the Olympic Gold Medalist, but no matter who he faces, Kurt Angle gives 100% each and every time he steps through the ropes. With so many world-class athletes currently competing in Insane Championship Wrestling, what will happen when one of them goes head-to-head with the Olympic Gold Medallist? Be there to witness the debut of Kurt Angle to find out!
