The ICW roster may have been on the road this past weekend, but this Sunday, March 6th, they return to the Garage in Glasgow for the latest Friday Night Fight Club tapings, and at this show, two of professional wrestling’s most unique personalities will clash, as ‘The Local Hero’ Joe Hendry takes on the debuting Mr Anderson!
One of the most naturally charismatic competitors to ever make their way to ICW, Joe Hendry’s musical parodies and quick wit on the microphone has been entertaining audiences since the day he arrived in the company, but putting all that aside, few young stars have progressed in the ring quite like ‘The Local Hero’ has. Having battled the likes of Jack Jester, Chris Renfrew, and even the current ICW World Heavyweight Champion Big Damo, Joe has gained a wealth of experience in his relatively short career, and has transformed into one of the most exciting prospects that Scotland has to offer. Whether as a singles competitor, or when tagging alongside his friend Davey Boy as ‘The Local Fire’, Joe Hendry captivates the crowd from the moment he steps through the curtain. On March 6th, he goes head-to-head with a world-travelled talent who has faced some of the biggest names in the business. With this huge opportunity coming his way this Sunday, can Joe make the most of this chance, and put the rest of the roster on notice?
‘The Local Hero’ is undoubtedly an extremely charismatic young man, but when a microphone is in his hands, there may be no-one in modern-day professional wrestling who can hold a crowd quite like Mr Anderson. Having competed in both WWE and TNA during his career, Anderson’s natural charisma, coupled with his skills in the ring, have taken him to some of wrestling’s grandest stages, to face some of the top names in the business. This Sunday at the Garage however, he steps into a whole new environment, when he makes his debut in Insane Championship Wrestling. It’s often said that you only get one chance to make a first impression, so one can only wonder what kind of impression the immensely talented, and often controversial, Mr Anderson will leave on ICW on March 6th!
Be sure not to miss this huge match, as ‘The Local Hero’ Joe Hendry faces, perhaps, his biggest challenge to date, in the form of Mr Anderson! Tickets for this show, on Sunday, March 6th at the Garage in Glasgow, are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.co.uk!
