Iron Man Match
By Scott Reid

After the challenge was laid down by Joe Coffey on December 1st, and accepted by James Scott, we now have the first match confirmed for the 3rd Annual Square Go on January 26th: James Scott vs Joe Coffey in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match.

Undoubtedly two of the best wrestling talents in the country today, Joe Coffey and James Scott have developed somewhat of a professional rivalry over the last few months, built on a mutual respect for each other's undeniable talent. In November at ICW: Fear & Lothian, Coffey and Scott battled for the first time in what was a brutal contest that saw both men taken to their physical limits. On that night, Coffey left the building victorious, but not before his opponent shook his hand in a show of respect and admiration.

The following month, at ICW: 100% Shenanigans, a rematch was booked between the two men which once again saw them firing on all cylinders to deliver a truly intense contest. Making up for his loss in November, James Scott pulled off the victory, and did so by making Joe Coffey tap-out for the very first time via a Guillotine choke. Impressed by his opponents efforts, and realising they were now tied at one victory each, Joe suggested that, at the 3rd Annual Square Go, they go head-to-head one more time, but in a match that James Scott knows all too well; an Iron Man Match.

James Scott has the privilege of being ICW's unofficial 'Iron Man', after defeating Wolfgang in the first ever match of its kind in ICW, at the 2nd Annual Square Go back in January 2013. With his previous experience in this type of match, James Scott may look like the favourite going into January 26th, but he is not competing against any normal wrestler. Joe Coffey is one of the most hotly-tipped wrestlers in the country, and has travelled overseas to Japan to compete in Pro Wrestling Zero1, working with some of the toughest names in wrestling today.

Each with phenomenal wrestling ability, coupled with a great pride in what they do in the ring, Joe Coffey and James Scott will each be looking to pick up that third and final victory in this fantastic series of match. Can James Scott defend his title as ICW's 'Iron Man'? Or will Joe Coffey score the most falls, adding another impressive victory to his already startling resume?

ICW's 3rd Annual Square Go will take place on January 26th 2014, at the Garage in Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster, Ticket Scotland, Solid Rock Café and Rufus T. Firefly.
