ICW: Flawless Victory at the Garage on May 3rd marks the end of the Insane Entertainment System, and it seems only fitting that this event plays host to a match that could very well see the end of a war that has been waged up and down the country for the past 3 months. This Sunday, Chris Renfrew and Dickie Divers will go head-to-head one more time, but this time, they will compete in ICW's first ever Chair Match!
Renfrew and Divers have been locked in a war for months now, since the Fourth Annual Square, facing off in both singles, and tag matches. No matter if they have team-mates alongside them or not however, both men have made it their mission to inflict as much punishment as possible on the other at every opportunity. With the carnage only intensifying, Dickie Divers laid down the challenge for Renfrew to face him one more time, in a match that will utilise a weapon, that has been prominent throughout their rivalry, to it's full advantage; a Chair Match. With multiple steel chairs at their disposal, Renfrew and Divers will have the opportunity to destroy each other as they see fit, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
With the extreme stipulation added to this match, one could be quick to assume that one man is more comfortable than the other in this environment, but this is a completely even playing field. Chris Renfrew is, undoubtedly one of the most hardcore competitors to ever step foot in ICW, making a name for himself as a truly violent entity who can hurt you in ways you never though possible. Dickie Divers, however, is just as adept as surviving these hellish conditions. A pioneer of the TLC match in ICW, Divers has been part of some of the most extreme matches in ICW, and has lived to tell the tale. While he may not be as sadistic as Renfrew, Divers is certainly well-equipped when it comes to dishing out the punishment with a steel chair.
While their bad blood reaching boiling point, Chris Renfrew and Dickie Divers' past friendship is truly dead, and they may put the final nail in the coffin of it this Sunday. With steel in their hands, and violence on their minds, who will walk out of the Garage with his head held high, and who will be left a broken mess on the ring canvas? One thing's for sure; This WILL get extreme!
