The ICW Tag Team Championships have been hotly contested over the last few months, with a number of teams fighting to hold the coveted belts. At ICW: Still Smokin’, Tommy End and Michael Dante, the destructive force known as the Sumerian Death Squad, became the new Tag Team Champions after defeating the NAK and The Bucky Boys in a Three Way Ladder Match. The Sumerian Death Squad have obsessively chased down the ICW Tag Team Championships since they arrived in ICW, and show no signs of letting the belts go anytime soon. Their opponents at ICW: A Show London have very different ideas however.
The New Age Kliq held the ICW Tag Team Championships previously, but lost the belts back in January after a double pin forced Mark Dallas to vacate the titles. Believing that they never truly lost the titles to be begin with, The NAK march into London on May 4th ready to take back what they believe is rightfully theirs. The question is, which members of the team will compete? Dickie Divers and BT Gunn have teamed together most frequently when representing the Kliq, but Chris Renfrew is never one to pass up the opportunity for a fight. There is also the newly inducted NAK member Darkside, who is an extremely accomplished tag-team competitor in his own right.
No matter who competes in this match, you can be sure tensions will be running high. The Sumerian Death Squad have openly berated the NAK on several occasions, with Tommy End and Chris Renfrew in particular engaging in a venomous war of words. With so much bad blood between these two teams, it is safe to assume this contest will be a hellacious and violent event that wows the fans in attendance at ICW’s first ever London show!
