At ICW: Show Me Your Lizard this Sunday, fans will be treated to a rematch between two men who tore the house down in Edinburgh, back at ICW: Fear & Lothian in November 2013.
Mark Coffey may have lost the ICW Zero-G Championship to his surprise opponent, Fergal Devitt last month in the o2 ABC, but the latest acquisition of Polo Promotions will be out to do everything in his power to get back in contention for his previously-held gold. Coffey is one of the most driven young stars in Scottish wrestling, and will take on any challenge put in front of him. His challenge at ICW: Show Me Your Lizard, however, is former 2-time Zero-G Champion, Noam Dar.
Despite being one of the younger members of the ICW roster, Dar is viewed by many as a figure-head of the ICW Zero-G division. His agility, natural in-ring talent and high flying assault make him an extremely formidable opponent for anyone he steps into the ring with. The last time he was in the ring with Mark Coffey, Dar challenged the, at the time, Zero-G Champion for the gold in a contest which many fans called ‘match of the night’ at ICW: Fear & Lothian. While Mark Coffey left Fear & Lothian with his hand raised and the gold around his waist that night, Noam showed that he is still a very legitimate challenge for anyone who carrys the Zero-G Championship.
With both of these young men looking to get into the title picture once again, they will no doubt put everything on the line to walk out of the Garage as the victor. A win for Noam Dar could very well put him on the road to a third Zero-G Championship reign, but Mark Coffey is no slouch and will do anything he can to get a chance to reclaim his beloved gold. If their first encounter is anything go by, this is a match not to be missed!
