FORMER HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS DOWN, BUT NOT OUT, AND VOWS TO MAKE A TRIUMPHANT RETURN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
By Scott Reid

As a two-time ICW Heavyweight Champion, James Scott has built a reputation within Insane Championship Wrestling as one of the toughest competitors on the roster.

Having kicked off 2013 with an impressive win over Wolfgang in a 30 Minute Iron Man match, James then found himself locking horns with Jimmy Havoc on two separate occasions, first in a victorious singles match in March, before Havoc gained redemption in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match in April. With both men earning one victory each, fans were desperate to see a final match between Havoc and Scott. This encounter will have to be put on hold however, as James recently found himself injured after an ill-fated match against "The Vigilante" Johnny Moss.

Speaking about the incident, He said: "During a match against Johnny Moss at a show in Middlesbrough, he delivered an overhead belly to belly suplex and purposely tried to injure my good self by dropping me on my head. As soon as I landed I knew I was hurt badly, as I lost all feeling in my arm. Being the iron man that I am however, I persevered and continued to wrestle for another 10 minutes."

"I then made the 3 hour drive home, and when I woke the next morning, I was unable to really move without severe pain in my left shoulder. An x-ray later revealed my AC joint had been knocked out of place!"

James admits he was shocked at the severity of his injury, but he was not the only person who was surprised. He stated: "After discovering the extent of the injury, my Doctor was astonished I was able to continue my match, never mind drive 150+ miles home afterwards!"

So with his in-ring career on hold for the foreseeable future, James has a long road to recovery ahead of him. His resolve to succeed in ICW has never been stronger though, and his first priority upon his return is to finish off his rivalry with Jimmy Havoc.

Discussing their feud, James stated: "Jimmy Havoc and I have unfinished business. He's been on my radar for a while now, but he seems happy to be one of the ICW sheep. I wish to make an example of him. He's legitimately one of the toughest men on the planet, and he has the scars to prove it. However, I'm no mere wrestler. I have 20+ years of martial arts and grappling on my side, and I can hurt him in ways that a lightube cannot. Why rattle his thick dome with a chair when I can dislocate his shoulder with my bare hands!?"

Jimmy Havoc is not the only target in James Scotts crosshairs however, as he claimed that championship gold is still in his sights, and even hinted that he may go after Wolfgang once more, this time to claim his Zero-G Championship. He said: "When I return, I feel that I need more singles gold. My waist is feeling quite bare these days. I also find it ludicrous that I pinned Wolfgang THREE times in 30 minutes, proving I am, indeed, ICW'S Iron Man...yet, HE gets a shot at the ICW Zero G title!?"

It will only be a matter of time until James Scott returns to Insane Championship Wrestling, but until then, fans will have to wait in anticipation to see him triumphantly return and clash one final time with Jimmy Havoc.

With his Falls Count Anywhere match with James Scott now on hold, Jimmy Havoc is still booked to appear at ICW: Reservoir Dogs, and a replacement opponent is currently being sought. Details will be announced as soon as possible.
