Generally, when legends like Bret “Hitman” Hart speak, people listen, and ICW fans will be delighted to learn that the former five-time WWE Champion had glowing praise for reigning ICW Heavyweight Titleholder, Drew Galloway during a recent interview with Total Wrestling Magazine.

Speaking largely about WWE, and his relationship with Vince McMahon, Hart spent some time talking about how accomplished our champion is, shaking his head in disbelief that anybody would disregard someone quite as talented.

“I can't believe they let Drew go, he was a much better wrestler than they used him as. I think he was one of the best wrestlers they had”, the iconic Canadian star stated. Praise doesn't get much better, and you can bet your bottom dollar that the Hitman has kept his eyes on what Galloway has been up to since bursting back onto the ICW scene in July, 2014.

Replying to the kind words, Galloway told Facebook fans, “surreal to read my childhood hero Bret Hart give such praise. Beyond fired up for 2015!”. As brilliant as it must have been for Drew to hear such compliments, the champion will no doubt be 100% focused, as he prepares to defend the ICW Heavyweight Title against the ever-dangerous Chris Renfrew at the Fourth Annual Square Go. In addition, it'll be interesting to see how Renfrew responds to Hart's words.

Don't forget, even though the event is sold out and will play to 1,000+ baying fans, you can still catch all the action from the Fourth Annual Square Go just 24 hours later on ICW On Demand. For only £3.75 ($5.99) per month, gain access to all the latest from Insane Championship Wrestling, along with a huge amount of exclusive content and full shows.
