THE BIG HANGOVERS WILL BE BACK FOR ANOTHER SHOT AT THE GOLD, CLAIMS DEVLIN
By Neil Murray

Get Your Rat Oot! provided those in attendance with their first view of some new stars in an ICW ring a couple of weeks back, and they witnessed a tremendous first match in the company from Irish tag team, The Big Hangovers.

23-year-old Jordan Devlin and team-mate Sean Maxer, 26, have wrestled all over the world in their careers including, between them, countries like Spain, Germany and Japan.

However, their Insane Championship Wrestling debuts not only brought them the mammoth challenge of facing The Bucky Boys and Fight Club in a triple threat clash, it also gave them the opportunity to win the ICW Tag Team Titles.

The Hangovers came close to securing the belts during the match and agonisingly watched as they narrowly missed out as Davey and Stevie Boy retained. However, Devlin admits it's an experience the newcomers thrived on. He said: "We absolutely loved it. The ICW crowd is one of the most unique I've ever been in front of. I thought we had it won at the end when I hit the Package Piledriver on Liam Thomson, and we were very disappointed not to have secured the win there and then.

"I haven't seen my old friend Davey Blaze in years but I was shocked at how much he's come on, both physically and as a wrestler."

Blaze even got to teabag one of The Hangovers during the encounter. Devlin was glad it wasn't him! He jokingly added: "I'm glad it was Sean, thank God! I wasn't in any rush to help him either, terrible partner that I am!"

Devlin – a protégé of fellow Bray man Fergal Devitt - has held two other Scottish promotion's tag team titles with PBW and BCW. Ironically, he won them with a man who has made a couple of appearances in ICW himself, Sean South. And the youngster admits he is even more determined to come back to ICW with his current tag partner Maxer and become a Scottish Triple Crown winner.

He revealed: "I know I'd love to be a Triple Crown Champion. I guess we'll have to come back, work hard and get into the No.1 contender spot! I know both me and Sean can't wait to have another crack at the Bucky Boys!"
